Summertime Fun

My girls love the beach, so we try to make a beach trip as often as we can. For some that don't know this, we live in a gorgeous area with white sandy beaches and plenty of fresh blue water. The bay takes on the appearance of the ocean without the salty water or the huge waves. Northern Michigan is a great place to live if you don't mind snow, lots of snow, cool summers, and tons of outdoor activities. We live in a small enough city to not know everyone (typically I see maybe one person I know at walmart out of the 1000's there), and still feel safe about raising our kids here. As long as the grandparents will keep coming to visit and think about retirement here, we are as happy as can be here.
