Something about Mondays! Most people don't like Monday mornings, but I have to admit that I kinda like them. Mondays are the only day of the week that we have absolutely nothing planned and nothing to rush to-for now. Tuesday and Thursday mornings we have preschool with Hope, Wednesday evenings we have church-just us girls, and Friday mornings we try to make it to play group. Saturdays are fun days and Sundays we have church. Monday mornings we wake up together-usually cuddling since both girls meander over to our bed at some point in the morning. Then we get up and off to the kitchen were the three of us make breakfast together, typically pancakes with some kind of fruit. We enjoy our breakfast sweet and settled. Soon we are off to play while I clean up our mess from breakfast. The day is calm and relaxed-there have been a day or two when the girls just want to stay in their jammies all day rather than even get dressed. This doesn't happen in the summer, since we are out of the house and playing with everything outside shortly after we eat. We miss summer, summer is nice, summer is warm-ahh summer. It's going to be a long winter at this rate-aching to get outside. I would be more than excited to play outside right now if it were not 10 degrees or below that in the negative range. Pulling the girls in a sled is a great workout for mom and they love it!
This week we have a lot of excitement! We are in charge of treats at school this week and we have Hope's birthday on Friday. We are planning a little party for Miss Hope for probably Saturday. Maybe if we are lucky, we will get a warm day to do some winter riding with the horses and let Hope ride her pony!
